Perched in the tranquil treetops of Kennett River and just a five-minute stroll to the beach, Koala View offers sweeping 270-degree views across the Otway National Park and down to the ocean below. Koalas, kangaroos, parrots and kookaburras are frequent visitors, giving guests an immersive bush-meets-coast experience in one of the most peaceful pockets along the Great Ocean Road. With surfing, swimming, bushwalking, fishing and nature photography all nearby, it’s an ideal base to enjoy the region’s natural beauty.

Upstairs, the open-plan living space is drenched in north-facing light throughout the year, featuring timber floors, a cosy wood heater, comfortable dining and lounge areas, and direct access to the treetop deck with a BBQ and dining for eight. Downstairs on the entry level are three bedrooms—two with queen-size beds and a third designed for children, sleeping up to four with two single bunk beds. The house is thoughtfully set up for families, offering a selection of books, toys, games and puzzles for a relaxed stay.

Kennett River’s beach, caravan park and playground, newly surfaced tennis court with
basketball hoop (available for hire), café/general store and small fishing pier are all within easy walking distance. A network of walking and mountain-biking tracks also begins in town, providing instant access to the surrounding national park and endless opportunities to explore the
coastal bushland.
